Originally started in New Zealand in late 1999, NMD Bodyboards started as a custom shaper with mail-order boards. They later expanded in 2002 into a production facility in Java, and began working on significant changes and design advancements in bodyboarding. Today, NMD works with the world's best, including Ben Player and Dave Winchester, along with several others including Jase Finlay, Pierre-Louis Costes, Joe Clarke, Eddie Solomon, Steve ‘Bullet’ Mackenzie and Michael 'Eppo' Epplestun. NMD takes rider feedback to continuously evolve and develop better boards. This has allowed NMD to become one of the most popular bodyboard shapers, and develop some of the best boards available today.
